Kelly Thayer

Named “Service Entrepreneur of the Year” by Ernst & Young, Merill Lynch and Inc. Magazine In June of 1992 for the Rocky Mountain region, and featured on the cover of Inc. Magazine November of 1993. Kelly brings more than 28 years of executive and entrepreneurial experience to Sales Tilt.

Kelly was also featured in the October 1993 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the 40 under 40 stories.

As founder and CEO of Clear Image, Inc., Kelly worked with over 200 companies and produced more than 700 films and videos for clients such as Delta Airlines, Tupperware, Herbalife, Rexall and Avon to assist them with marketing and managing growth.

In the mid-90’s, he began a partnership with Net Profit, one of the early pioneers in developing websites on the Internet. In 1999, Kelly co-founded One World Online.com, a first of its kind ISP program that rewards internet service customers with rewards and incentives.

A visionary in his own right, Kelly is respected for his managerial skills and ability to create practical and profitable applications for new technologies and ideas.

Bob Whitney

Bob Whitney is a respected, seasoned professional with over 35 years experience managing information technology for IBM Corp. During his tenure at IBM, Bob lead teams of IT specialists, responsible for distributor server systems throughout the United States and Europe. He is skilled in resource management, executive team leadership, project management, recruiting, sales and marketing.

Bob has extensive experience working successfully with clients, as well as vendors, managing multi-million dollar budgets. Bob received his B. A. in Business Administration from Mount Saint Mary College in New York and an M.B.A in E-Commerce Business from the University in Phoenix.

He currently resides in North Carolina.

Patricia Benjamin

Patricia Benjamin resides in beautiful Denver, CO. In a remarkable career spanning 25 years with State Farm Insurance, Pat managed the largest female agency in the region, which included Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico and several other states. In her personal sales efforts, she led the country, 17,000 agents in all, in Long Term Care sales.

Pat served on a number of committees with State Farm, helping to create significant policy changes, particularly in areas of diversification.  Her countless satisfied clients, along with praise from her business colleagues, have earned her enormous respect within the insurance industry, as well as her community.

She is an avid horse lover and devoted to her family.

Sean Anthony
Vice President of Internet Marketing

Sean Anthony’s professional experience includes more than 20 years in the Information Technology industry, in both the public and private sector, with companies such as Intel and FedEx, as well as the University of New Mexico and Los Alamos National Labs. This experience includes more than 10 years managing the daily operations of desktop support professionals, network engineering professionals and teams of programmers.

Sean earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems, as well as a Masters of Business Administration in Information Technology. To give back to the community, he enjoys coaching baseball and teaching a middle school youth group at his church. He currently teaches technology classes at Albuquerque Academy, the elite college-prep institution in the Southwest. He resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Alan Comedy, PHD

Alan Comedy, PHD, has served for the past 11 years as the Assistant to the President of Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts for Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity, Diversity, Disability Compliance and Minority Affairs. In addition to his administrative duties, Dr. Comedy oversees the hiring of faculty and is also an adjunct professor.

Previously, Alan served as special assistant to the President of the University of Northern Colorado, as well as in various positions at SUNY Health Sciences Center, Charles County Community College and The Catholic University of America. He has extensive experience in areas involving civil rights legal compliance, employee relations and college administration.

Dr. Comedy earned his Bachelor’s degree from Wilberforce University, a Masters Degree in Education and Social Sciences from Antioch University, and his Doctorate from The Catholic University of America. He has served on numerous commissions and is an accomplished public speaker.

David Burke

David Burke hails from the Valley Forge area of Chester County, Pennsylvania and has worked as a Sales & Marketing professional for more than two decades.

David began his career with United Vision Group, one of America’s largest specialty gift retailers, working his way up to regional sales manager and later, as operations and marketing manager.

For several years he owned and operated a successful marketing agency, specializing in public relations, advertising and sales representation for the fine gift & luxury products industries.

He served as Vice-President of sales and marketing for Crystal World, Inc, one of America’s largest domestic producers of crystal figurines and premium incentive gifts.

In recent years David served as Marketing Director for Christian Bernard Jewelers, an upscale European jeweler with 15 stores in the United States, as well as a wholesale division.

David studied business management & marketing at Penn State University. He is currently an independent marketing consultant.

Lisa Vargas
Vice President of Training

Lisa Vargas, based in sunny San Diego, CA, brings a dynamic, fresh approach to sales training. With 10 years experience in sales leadership and management, Lisa is a great communicator and mentor. Her early career focused on sales and marketing in the fresh floral and produce industries, managing large accounts, including major grocery chains.

During a later tenure with Superior Internet Solutions, Ms. Vargas set company sales records, selling online marketing solutions to real estate agents and mortgage brokers.

Since 2006, she has excelled as a mortgage loan officer in a difficult market, consistently leading her office in sales figures, partnering with real estate professionals and financial planners to develop new business.

Lisa earned a B. S. degree from California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo. This remarkable young woman also holds a black belt in Matsubayashi Shorin-Ryu Karate.

Lucius Drake, PHD

Lucius Drake, PHD, has spent nearly two decades as an educator and administrator. During his early career, Dr. Drake served as a School Principal for the Department of Defense on a large military base in Okinawa, serving the dependents of U. S. servicemen and women.  Upon his stateside return, Lucius worked as an instructor and assistant professor at the University of Northern Colorado and later, at Midland Lutheran College in Nebraska.

From 1998 until 2004, he served in various capacities at Metropolitan State College in Denver, including Director of Clinical Services, as well as Director of the Teacher Education Center, organizing admission processes to all teacher education programs. He currently teaches mathematics and leads the math department in the Weld County School District near Denver.

Dr. Drake earned a Bachelor or Arts degree in Psychology at Fisk University, a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from Temple University, and his Doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of Northern Colorado.
