FLOYD ANTONIO
Floyd Antonio is a praise and worship minister, workshop coordinator, writer, composer and producer, an inspiring music and bible teacher. Floyd has over 28 years of experience in teaching music, both practical and theory. He has been instrumental in creating waves and making bold statements about the gospel music fraternity as he seeks to reflect the various beats of the Caribbean to the world.

Floyd, born in Clarendon, Jamaica, lived in Montego Bay, Jamaica for a number of years, before migrating to the Bahamas with wife and children. He is a member of the worship department of Bahamas Faith Ministries International. Floyd is also a citizen of the kingdom of Jehovah Adonai.

Prior to migrating to the Bahamas, he attended Church’s Teachers College and the Jamaica School of Music where he obtained certification as a music teacher. In addition, Floyd was conferred with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Music (Distinction) from Almeda College and University. Further, he attended Cambridge Tutorial College in England receiving a certification in Salesmanship, Sales Management and Marketing. While in London he became an associate member of the Performing Rights Society.

Floyd is described as a dedicated, hardworking and committed Christian, working in church organizations, making contributions to revolutionize worship experiences and to excel and create strong ministerial impacts on congregations. As a teacher of music, art and drama, he has demonstrated outstanding teaching abilities and talents, giving significant contribution, initiating and organizing choirs, ensembles and school bands. His dedication and commitment to God is of the highest order, seeking to align his life with the principles of scripture.
